In the United States, the tonal concepts of electronic organ manufacturers have been shaped not only by certain sound ideals, but principally by developing technology available in a particular time period. Pipe organ builders led the historical research of the 1980’s and beyond which resulted in a reappraisal of organ sound. It became clear that the history of the organ involved an enormous range of artistic concepts, technical designs and sonic ideals. A long history in Europe and Great Britain

Eminent Organs of The Netherlands developed and produced their first electronic organ in 1960.  Since 1985,  Eminent has specialized only in classical church organs.  In 1990 Eminent began using a unique system of real time digital generation.  This system has allowed the client the ability to revoice the organ or even change the existing stop list with the prerequisites of complete tonal flexibility.  This system forms the basis of their continued development into the newest generation of real time digital technology employed today.
